This back door still had an old 3-lever rebated sashlock, which many home insurers won’t accept on a final exit door.
I replaced it with a British Standard BS3621 5-lever rebated sashlock and fitted a new keep in the frame so the bolt throws fully and securely. The handles were kept, so the door looks the same but now meets insurance requirements.
